Every Confirmed Dunkin’ Location in Canada

Last updated: 23 September 2026. No Dunkin’ locations are currently open in Canada. This page tracks every confirmed and announced site and is updated whenever Foodtastic or Inspire Brands releases new information.

Dunkin’ left Canada in 2018, closing the last of the Quebec stores that had operated since the 1960s. In May 2026 Foodtastic announced a master franchise agreement with Inspire Brands to bring the brand back, targeting 600 to 700 locations nationally.

This page is the running list. No addresses have been formally confirmed yet, so what follows is the announced rollout structure plus the cities and regions named publicly.

Why Quebec First

Dunkin’ was a Quebec institution before it was anything else in Canada. At its peak in the 1990s the chain ran more than 200 Quebec locations and held meaningful share against Tim Hortons in Montreal. The decline through the 2000s was driven by underinvestment in store standards rather than lack of demand, and a 2012 court ruling found in favour of franchisees who argued the parent company had failed to protect the brand.

Foodtastic is headquartered in Montreal and already operates a large Quebec franchise network, which makes the province the natural launch base. The brand also retains genuine name recognition there in a way it does not elsewhere in Canada.

No. The last Canadian location closed in 2018. The first new store is expected in late 2026 or early 2027.

Which Canadian city gets Dunkin’ first?

Toronto and Montreal are both named as launch markets. Foodtastic has not confirmed which store opens first.

How many Dunkin’ locations will Canada get?

Foodtastic has stated a target of 600 to 700 locations, with roughly 200 in Quebec.

How fast will stores open?

Foodtastic founder Peter Mammas has said he expects roughly one new location per week within twelve months of the first opening.

Will Dunkin’ open in Calgary or Vancouver?

Both are expected in the national rollout but neither has been named as a launch market. Western Canada is likely to follow Ontario and Quebec, probably from 2027 onward.
